Skykon is a strong, global solution provider with more than 25 years of experience in the wind turbine tower business. Our unique background as a wind turbine manufacturer has provided us with considerable know-how within the production of large-scale steel constructions and enabled us to understand the needs and requirements of our customers better than any other supplier in the market. We have thus transferred the experience in manufacturing of complete wind turbines into our present focus on wind turbine towers and continued building on the competencies that we have acquired through years of close cooperation with our customers.

Today, our business model is entirely dedicated to servicing global wind turbine manufacturers, and we aim at being the preferred supplier of tower sections and tower components to the top tier of the global manufacturers. This means that our time and resources are entirely spent on developing product solutions for the specific needs and demands in the wind turbine industry.

Regarding the wind turbine, we specialise in the production of tower elements from the nacelle and downwards, but we also provide our customers with the opportunity of buying complete turnkey solutions including design, construction, documentation, material purchase as well as production and surface treatment.

Customer Specified Solutions

We provide solutions to requirements for private label products entirely made-to-order on the basis of customer needs and specifications. In the market, we are renowned for our capability to advise our customers of design optimisations that can bring about cost reductions thanks to more effective production processes. We welcome challenges related to new or alternative tower product solutions as our technology, knowledge and capacity enable Skykon to contribute to further development of tower products.
 

Our yearly tower capacity amounts to 1,500, but we are prepared to further expand our business to remain an important part of the solution in the wind turbine tower industry. That means that we are currently preparing for capacity expansions in geographical areas where our customers require sourcing of locally produced towers.
