The Skykon Group comprises a range of the most competent and experienced production facilities in the wind turbine industry. We are a global supplier that, in our different chosen fields, focus unswervingly on quality and partnership.

With experience stretching all the way back to the very start of the wind turbine industry, Skykon Towers in Give is much more than a manufacturer of steel constructions today.
The business unit is a pioneer and one of the market leaders in the fields of foundations, towers and internals. At the same time, the company has the capacity, the capability and the technology to keep up as turbines continue to grow and requirements on quality and delivery reliability become ever-more stringent.
Skykon Composites in Faaborg was the first to introduce large-scale precision milling and is still a step ahead of the pack in this extremely demanding market. The product range is widely recognised for its uniqure quality under the brand name Dencam.
This is largely attributable to the company’s comprehensive know-how, a strong team of highly trained and dedicated specialists, and the very latest technology including high-end laser equipment and the largest and most accurate 5-axis high speed CNC milling machines in the world.
Skykon Composites in Nr. Aaby manufactures composite components for wind turbine industry, which is continuously increasing demands on quality and accuracy.
The most important product deriving from this business unit is root segments for turbine blades. Other products include composite components for use in nacelles, for example, as well as mould shells for blade production. Most recently, Skykon Composites in Nr. Aaby has developed a unique vacuum filter system that optimises the casting process for blade manufacturers.
Skykon Surface Treatment was founded under the name WKT Nordic A/S in 1983. Since then, the production facility has built up a position for itself as the leading dealer of raw materials for the production of composite components and for the surface treatment of both composite and steel components – including blades and towers.
These products include a unique coating system that gives wind turbine blades the capacity to withstand even the toughest UV and weather conditions.
The modern tower factory was built by Vestas in 2002. In 2009, Skykon acquired the company as part of the ambitious growth strategy intended, for example, to secure our position as market leader in the field of innovative turnkey tower solutions for both onshore and offshore wind turbines.
The plan is to extend the Campbeltown production facilities in the immediate future through the opening of another modern factory on site.
