The Board of Directors has appointed Jens Risvig Pedersen new CEO of Skykon as of today. A CEO with proven manufacturing capabilities will thus be leading Skykon into the next phase of its corporate development as an international top-quality supplier to the wind energy industry.
 

Skykon has experienced significant growth in the last few years and has established itself amongst the absolute market leaders in Tower and Composites production to the wind industry. Skykon has production facilities in Denmark, Scotland and China and is establishing production of off-shore foundations at the former Lindø shipyard in Denmark. Former CEO Jesper Øhlenschlæger’s contribution to building up Skykon to this level has been instrumental and we thank him for his efforts and dedication.
 

Skykon is now moving into the next phase of its corporate development where focus, in addition to growing the business, increasingly will be on consolidating and improving the production platform. As a natural consequence, strong manufacturing experience in top management is needed.
