Skykon is a recognised player in the rapidly growing global wind energy sector and we specialise in the production of towers, composites and offshore solutions where we have years of experience in supplying to leading wind mill manufacturers.

Jens Risvig Pedersen (1966) - President & CEO

Jens is co-owner and CEO of Skykon. Together with CFO Søren Lindgaard he represents the executive team of Skykon. Jens is dedicated to Skykon's unique business model securing the necessary consolidation of the supplier network in the wind turbine industry.

Jens is an accomplished executive with 25 years of manufacturing and operational experience from the industry and has an extremely strong track record. Jens was formerly the MD of Welcon (today known as Skykon Give), he has founded and run busineses in the industry and has been a major shareholder and board member of Skykon since its establishment.

Søren Lindgaard (1966) - Executive VP & CFO

Søren joined Skykon in 2010. Together with CEO, Jens Pedersen he represents the executive team of Skykon dedicated to Skykons unique business model securing the necessary consolidation of the supplier network in the wind turbine industry.

Søren has experience within general management through VP and CFO positions in Tvilum-Scanbirk, Lego Group, SP Group and FLS Aerospace Group. He is currently in the board of Modulex A/S. Søren holds a Master in Auditing and Accounting as well as the authorisation as State Authorised Public Accountant.

Niels Brix (1973) - VP, Business Development & External Affairs

Niels joined Skykon in 2007. As Vice President of Business Development Niels is responsible securing the execution of Skykon’s business strategy being present around the world where our customers plan for expansion. In addition Niels is responsible ensuring Skykon’s various stakeholder relations including governmental affairs.

Prior to being in Skykon Niels has held management positions in Sterling Airlines A/S, Deloitte, and at Carlsberg Breweries A/S as well as headed his own consultancy business within M&A. Niels is serving as board member in the Danish Windmill Association.
As formal education he holds a position as Attorney at Law.

Dennis Thomsen (1967) - VP, Skykon Offshore Solutions/Project development

Dennis joined Skykon in 2009. As Vice President of our Offshore Solution business Dennis is dedicated to contribute to the development of the existing product solutions within the off shore wind business.

He has extensive experience from the wind turbine industry holding different positions in Vestas, of which the position as Vice President within Vestas Towers can be mentioned. Dennis is also former Managing Director of HMK Industri A/S manufacturing special solutions for the transport industry. Dennis is educated Civil Engineer and holds an Executive MBA.

Jesper Uhre Larsen (1976) - VP, Skykon Tower Solutions

Jesper joined Skykon in 2008. As Vice President of our Tower Solution business Jesper is dedicated to preserve Skykons leading position in the marketplace for tower solutions and continuesly contribute to the wind turbine tower business.

Jesper has held different management positions at Vestas Towers A/S and Vestas Nacelle Components A/S and has an in depth knowledge about production management. Jesper is educated as Machine Technician.

Lars Fuglsang (1971) - VP, Skykon Composites Solutions

Lars Fuglsang joined Skykon in 2010 as Vice President of our Composite Solution business where his focus is to ensure Skykons contribution to innovation and further development of composite products.

Lars has extensive experience within technology and product strategy development for blades and with the operation of technology intensive departments. Prior to Skykon Lars headed the Blade Design division at LM WindPower A/S and worked as assistant professor at DTU (Technical University of Denmark). He has filed more than 10 patents within turbine and blade design. Lars holds an Industrial PhD, Solid Mechanics and a MSc, Mechanical Engineering.

Johnny Haugaard Skov (1969) - VP, Business Excellence, QSE and Procurement

Johnny joined Skykon in 2010. He is working as Vice President, Business Excellence, QSE & Procurement where his focus is to ensure significant improvement in productivity, quality and delivery for the better of our customers.

Johnny has know-how within business optimisation and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Previously he has held management positions in Royal Unibrew, Schur Packaging Systems and APV Products. Johnny is educated Production Engineer and holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
